Combi Shuttle Infant Car Seat Review

Each day, 353,000 babies open their eyes in this world and every parent wants to provide luxurious facilities to their newborn especially when he is the first one. The first year of life is of primary importance for newborn babies. So safety is the first thing that comes into our mind in this regard. There’s no better gift to little one other than a comfortable and deluxe baby seat. And if you are looking for the best baby car seat, I recommend you to have a look at this sturdy car seat known as Combi Shuttle Car Seat.

Let’s start the review of Combi Shuttle Infant Car Seat:

Okay, let’s start with the specifications of the shuttle:

  • Weight: 17.6 pounds
  • Batteries Required: Well, no.
  • Max. Weight Handling: 35 pounds.
  • Max. Height Recommended: 33 in
  • Color: Black only
  • Dimensions: 25.8 x 16.8 x 25.5 inches

Moving on, we have a great car seat with great design and features. The seat is light weight and travel-friendly and has safety as its basic purpose. We aren’t going to compromise over it, are we? Let me explain to you how this seat is the safest choice for the kid. The seat comes equipped with an extra safety shield known as “Anti-Rebound Bar” which is placed just at the end of the seat. This safety bar limits the rotational motion of the seat so that your baby doesn’t fall down as a result of any unexpected rotation. In other words, it stabilizes the infant’s seat thanks to its position at the end of the seat. Furthermore, the bar is attached to the seat so you can use it even after removing the seat from the base.

Black is the only color you will be getting this product. But that’s not a good reason to not to buy it. Anyways, next handful feature is weight and height handling. Although the seat is lightweight but doesn’t necessarily means it can’t handle the healthy baby. Weight limit for this seat is 35 pounds and every child up to one and a half year old can enjoy it. On the head, we have an adjustable head restraint to minimize the sudden jerks in order to protect the infant’s head.  On both sides, there are level indicators to help you install the seat on the base correctly. Be sure to read the manual to manage these bubble indicators.

Another plus point we have is the removability of the parts so that you can wash them to give them a new look. Well, as per my experience, black color is mostly affected by dust particles which are neither good for your seat or for baby’s health.

So it’s really necessary to clean it. Push button latch connector is also worth-noting feature. It helps you in easy installation of the seat to the base. Thanks to its solid and sturdy design, the seat can give you smooth service for 6-7 years without any wear and tear. Additionally, we have built-in seat belts to bulldoze small tweaks. And last but not the least, it can fit on almost all Combi strollers to work as a travel system.

However, there are some issues that need to be addressed. Although Combi took a great step by making a detachable seat removal isn’t that much convincing and something it is hard to remove it from the base. Same is the problem with puzzle buckle which is equally bothering in terms of handling. It occasionally hangs up when you remove the seat out of the base. Weight might also be an issue for some of you.

So it seems that Combi Car seat has some really balanced properties but the price is the one that outmatches the competitors. If you ask me, your lad is going to enjoy the seat without any big issues. However, you have to carry this bulky seat and that really is a problem. But who said parenting is going to be easy.
